Happy Anniversary, Jason!

In honor of our 6th Anniversary, I've decided to post this little quiz I found on Ethan and Kim Woodbury's blog. I'd like to honor the love of my life by letting everyone know how much I love and appreciate him. He is truly amazing!

Anyway, here we go:

How long have you been together? 6 years!

How long did you date? We met and went on our first date in August 2001. He took it very slow and knew it was right…it took me just a tad longer! We were married in April 2002!

How old is he? A strikingly handsome, 34.

Who eats more? Definitely Jason.

Who said "I love you" first? Jason did, although I was quick to respond!

Who is taller? Jason and we're a perfect fit!

Who sings better? Well, Jason would say me, but he has the most amazing voice!

Who is smarter? Jason, definitely. Although, he’s left-brained, and I’m VERY right brained, so I guess that makes me a bit smarter on a few things!

Who does the laundry? I do.

Who does the dishes? It depends. I’m such a slow eater that Jason ends up doing it a lot because he’s finished long before I am! We work together a lot, though.

Who cleans the bathrooms? We both do. Jason is a wonderful help…esp. when I’m not up to it!

Who does the vacuuming? Neither of us do it often enough, and now we need a new vacuum anyway, so who knows when it’ll get done next!

Who does the ironing? Whoever needs something ironed...we're big believers in the dryer toss getting out wrinkles. (Kim Woodbury wrote this, and I echo it!)

Who makes the bed? Me.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do.

Who pays the bills? Mainly Jason, although most of the bills are on auto-pay. I pay my own bills, though!

Who cooks dinner? Well, that’s a tough one! I really don’t like to cook, so I only do it when I feel up to it. Jason does a lot of cooking, which is wonderfully amazing! I am one lucky woman!

Who is more stubborn? I have to say that I am but only because he's pretty laid back about most things.

Who kissed who first? Jason did. He was so sweet about it too! He asked me first if he could kiss me, and I had been wanting him to for a little while, so it was perfect!

Who is more sensitive? Oh me, without a doubt!

Who has more friends? I think I do, however he has many more close friends that like to get together when they are in town.

Who asked who out first? Jason did. We met at and Institute dance, although he knew me from Chorale the year before and had been biding his time…I didn’t have a clue who he was (L), but I took a chance and the rest is history!

Who proposed? Jason did, and it was wonderful! We decided to get married early in January, and he had my rings designed, so it took a good month to get them. The day they were ready he picked them up, took me to Beus Pond and proposed!

Jason, I love you so much! You are such an amazing man and I am so blessed to be your eternal companion. Thank you for all you do for us!
