Books, Books, Books!!

I love to read. I love it so much that I, of course, want to instill that love in my children. I am the type that when I am browsing in the store and I come across a cute children's book, I usually buy it without thinking (even if I really can't afford it...I did just that today at Shopko). So far, both of my kids love books and love to read/be read to. :)

So, about 3 years ago, after Jarem turned one, I decided to become a consultant for Usborne Books at Home Children's Books. I was able to get a lot of books at a huge discount! Well, when I got pregnant with Alexa, it became to hard to do home shows, so I quit selling.
Jump ahead to the present...I have decided to be a consultant again!! Last night I had a home show "party" at my home, and I'm looking forward to sharing these books with friends and family who would like to enjoy them as well. In fact, I am hosting an eShow right now that ends on August 5th. So, if you'd like to see what these books are like, go to http://www.ubah.com/HOS118420 and check them out. If you decide to order, you can do it directly through the above site (and I will get credit for your order...and it will ship directly to your home), or let me know, and I'll "hook you up" (as they say)!! If you think you might be interested in hosting a home show/party, I'm your gal!!

Sorry to do a "business blog", but this was the best way I could think of to advertise my new venture. I love these books, and I'm sure you will too!!

I wish I could buy stuff from you, but I'm a poor renter now. It makes me happy that the kidlets have developed a love of reading. They won't ever regret it and neither will you!! I love you guys! Give the kids a hug for me! :D

I love the books. My favorite right now are the ones that are like "Where's Waldo" books. That's because my piano students of all ages have fun looking for the monsters, animals, etc. I also like the feely/touchy books. I'm glad you are back doing something you feel so strong about.

You really love books and read them too! I'll be honest, I just go to the public library and get books for the girls that way or when the Scholastic book fair comes twice per year, plus every 2 or 3 months I get this scholastic catalog from the teacher to buy books, so..... Anyway I wish you luck with this business, I'm sure you'll do great, people will see your passion for reading and can get into that great habit too :)
