On Friday, August 1st, we got to go to Lagoon with my mom and dad! Jarem and Lexi had a blast! Last year Jarem was apprehensive to ride most of the rides, although the Speedway (car ride) was his favorite. This year was a completely different story. He wanted to try everything! He still loved the car ride, but the Bumper Cars was his favorite.
Lexi went on 2 rides, the car ride and that ride with the Dumbo characters. She loved the car ride, but hated the other one. We were going to to do the boat ride, but we had waited for 45 minutes earlier in that ride and it wasn't worth trying it again. I think she had fun anyway because she is quite the people-watcher! :D

That was a really fun day! It brought back the good memories of Lagoon. Watching the kids (esp. how hot it was) was pure joy. I loved how the ladies behind us didn't know whether to watch the kids or the show. How cute is that. I also liked how tired we were and yet Jarem was running from ride to ride. Great time!!!
My kids are starting to like Lagoon alot more. It's getting easier for me, too, now that they can ride more than 5 rides for the $40 bucks you pay to get them in.
I can't wait til they will ride the "fun" rides with me!!
Nathan and I have yet to get to Lagoon this summer - time is running out, so we'd better get on it!

Wow! Seems you had a nice time with your family! I guess going to an amusement park is part of summer :)Great pictures! And yes it's a lot of work , walking, humidity (here), but at the end, it's all worth it for the fun!
